Competitive Team Program

Dream Bigger, Reach Higher, Achieve More

Since Starlight opened in 1996, we have increased our Competitive Team members many times over. Using the USAG Competition levels (2-Elite), our athletes compete in and out of the state of Florida. We are very proud to have our talented Team members representing us in State, Regional and National competitions.

Optional Team (Levels 7-10)

Congratulations to Emma Slappey Level 10 – she placed 5th on beam and 10th All-Around at J.O. Nationals.

Congratulations to all our Optional team members for an excellent Regional meet!!

The following placed 1st through 3rd on an event:

Level 7: Ana Difato 1st place on bars-Regional Champion!

Level 8: Marie Hooker – 1st place vault-Regional Champion! 3rd place bars; Emerson Hurst: 3rd place bars and All-Around!

Developmental and Compulsory Teams (Levels 2-6)

Are back in the gym working on their new skills in preparation for the season beginning in August 2012!
