Starlight Gymnastics is the best year-round gymnastics school in North Florida and is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. We are well respected and known nationwide for our exceptional programs. Our preschool, recreational, boys and tumbling classes as well as our competitive team programs have attracted hundreds of children for the past 15 years.
Three important things set Starlight apart from other gymnastics programs:
- Our facility is the best and the largest in the city of Jacksonville. Our equipment is set up in such a way as to give equal opportunity to all departments and to provide the best education to all children enrolled in Starlight programs.
- We have developed the best specialized curriculum so that children, regardless of skill level or age, can reach their highest potential. In addition to physical education, our programs encourage children to exercise their social skills and develop a healthy level of self confidence.
- We have the best staff, and child to instructor ratio. The ratio is: 1:8 for preschool (3 to 4 years old), 1:10 for recreational classes (ages 5 and up). Our coaches are professional, thoroughly trained and safety certified through USA Gymnastics. We encourage every coach, employed by Starlight Gymnastics, to participate in supplemental training clinics available through USA Gymnastics as well as other reputable gymnastics organizations.
Each child in our program will be challenged by the yearly curriculum we offer and will enjoy a fun, learning experience in the process. Parents receive two progress reports during the course of the school year. These reports keep parents informed about their child’s progress and also will help him/her reach their goals for the year.
